Christmas trees

Our lovely Christmas tree with our blue and silver decorations and our blue and silver and green presents! Zach and I are opening some of our presents to each other tonight and then he is taking me to a surprise restaurant! I'm excited!

The National Christmas tree in DC . It is really huge and beautiful!

In front of the White House.

On another fun note....I FINISHED PSYCH today!!! It ended on a high note with the Department of Interior calling our unit at the hospital telling us that one of our patients had been calling them to complain about how Spring Grove was treating her....she believes she works for the Federal Government and that they could help her out! Good hell....so glad I am out of that place!!!

Happy Holidays!

It has been a long time! Zach came back to Baltimore a couple weeks ago and it's been pretty busy since then. I LOVE having him home!!! He has been to various interviews over the last couple weeks and I have been busy with Psychiatry and trying to finish up Xmas shopping. I think Zach and I finally got everything done including each other and he is the hardest man to shop for! We put up our first Xmas tree and had to buy a tree stand, all the ornaments, a star and a skirt! We didn't have anything! We did get a real tree though and our apartment is small enough that everyday I get home from work it smells like pine trees...wonderful!

We are headed to DC tomorrow night to see the National Xmas tree and go out to dinner with Zach's cousin and his wife. It should be beautiful and I'm excited.

I have 2 days left of Psych and then we leave for Utah on Saturday. I'm excited to be done and ready for Xmas to be here. We're going skiing and on a sleigh ride through the mountains of Park City. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures! Then we head to Charlotte on the 29th to spend some time with mom and Steve and Danny. It'll be weird with no Kendra this year....:(

As much as I've complained about Psych over the last 6 weeks...it has ended on a pretty good note and there has been some progress with some particularly difficult patients. Overall I learned a lot and I guess that is what I'm supposed to get out of the rotation. I did my time and not it's time to move on to Surgery! I took my Medicine and Psych shelves last weekend in NYC and we spent the night there Friday night with our good friends Brit and Ryan. They are having a baby in May and not finding out the sex which I think is so exciting! NYC is really great at Xmas time but it was freezing up there and not fun to walk around when it was so cold. We ate at a couple of good restaurants and had some really good Thai mojotos! Thanks Anna!

I hope this holiday season finds everyone well and I wish everyone Happy Holidays!
