The past couple of days have been really great....last week Zach and I both had interviews at West Virginia University in Morgantown and they went extremely well! We both loved our respective programs and really enjoyed the small town college feel of Morgantown.
Then yesterday we found out that our engagement pictures were back!!! We went and picked the CD up last night and OH MY GOODNESS!!!! They are incredible! Here are a few of my favorites:
We are thrilled with how they turned out and feel like they truly capture us as a couple and a family (with Mosley!) We would love to hear what you think about them.....
We also found out yesterday that we each got an interview where the other one either has an interview or interviewed at already. Zach got an interview invitation at West Virginia-Charleston division and I was able to get one at East Carolina!! This news probably thrilled us more than the pictures. To have 3 programs where we have interviews at together definitely makes the March match slightly less daunting....it's still anxiety ridden and stressful but we feel 100 times better after yesterday. We are going to celebrate this weekend with lots of quality time together. Zach actually has the whole weekend off and we are going to hang out with Mos and do some fun stuff. Tomorrow we are going for a cake tasting!! And we want to see the new movie The Blind Side....I swear to goodness that the lady in that movie could be my mom. If you know my mom you know that she would be the type of person to take in a highschooler with a tedious future and open up her heart and home for him and allow him to pursue his football dream, all the while being his biggest supporter and fan! I'm actually surprised my mom hasn't done this yet! Unfortunately in the south there are plenty of kids in the same situation as Michael Ore (the person the movie is based on). No family structure, no support system, no place to call home....I'm not into the Twilight thing so it's football for us!
