Wii
Zach opened the Wii I got him for his birthday....he is now boxing the TV.... hysterical! I think I peed my pants!!!!!!!!
I'm back!!
Ok I'm really sorry it has been so long....2 months is pretty unacceptable! The whole month of April was somewhat of a blur. I finished my Infectious Disease elective and then Zach and I flew out to Vegas for my cousin's wedding. It was really great out there to meet up with my dad and step-mom and a ton of my Till family. We explored Vegas, went out to Red Rock Canyon and Hoover dam and saw Zumanity, a sexually provacative cirque de soiel show that one should probably not go to with their dad and uncle!
After Vegas Zach and I went over to St. George, Utah where his parents have a second home. We hiked Zion's National Park which was about 20 minutes from their home. All I can say is that if you haven't visited this national park it is a must!!! Absolutely beautiful! The landscape in southern Utah is like no where else in the world. Red rocks and deep sand salt creations sprinkled with green pine trees. We did a hike called Angel's Landing. It was about 1500ft upwards and took us close to 5 hours. Once we got to the top there was a about 1/2 mile stretch where you were walking along the rocks along a path that was 3 feet wide and there was a 900ft drop to the left of you and 1500ft drop to the right. Scary and stunning all at the same time. I have tons of pictures but unfortunately they aren't downloaded to my computer yet. I'll actually probably post a link to snapfish on here since there are so many over the last 5 weeks.
After Zion we started back up to Salt Lake City so I could start Family Practice and Zach could begin working on his brother's house. It was a wonderful month with camping and traveling to California to see Zach's 100 year old grandma and I have some stories to tell but they'll have to wait for another day...I have Zach's birthday presents to go considering his 30th was yesterday and all he got were spongebob sleepy pants and candy. ugh....it was hard to plan a fun 30th birthday for him when I knew we were flying back to Baltimore on his actual birthday. But we plan on celebrating tonight at his favorite steak house and also in Charlotte on Tuesday with my family.
I'm off now to buy him a Wii and get some tickets to the Tool concert but I promise I'll be back on a regular schedule with the blog....at least until next week when we go on our Alaskan cruise :)
